Welcome to Food Processor Reviews

Having a food processor in your kitchen is such a time saver. that is, if you know how to operate it and if you buy one that is quality. Because like everything else in life, you generally get what you pay for. Since, I have been using food processors for almost 30 years, I felt like I might be able to help someone who is less familiar with them. It is my goal to save you time, money and frustration in your pursuit of the BEST food processors available today.

So, that is the purpose of this blog–to help direct you to the best food processors available and at the best prices. That is very important, as even the cheaper quality brands are expensive. You will find that if you prepare any recipes that are the least bit challenging, a cheap quality food processor will not hold up.

All food processors are not created equal, even tho they may look similiar.

I hope you will read the information that I have prepared and make the decision that is right for you in your purchase of a food processor.

The speed of a food processor can make you a gourmet in a matter of seconds!

What Can You Do With a Food Processor?

You will be able to grind meats, chop nuts, make bread crumbs, grate cheeses, make creamy soups, perfect pie crusts and beautiful loaves of bread. There is no end to the foods you can prepare using a food processor.

When I say grind meats, think about making your own ground meat. You can control the amount of fat that is in it if you do it yourself. And it takes only a few seconds. Maybe 45-50 seconds.

After you have read about the rest, then go buy the best!

Since so many of us are finding our kitchens again and not eating out as much, you will enjoy so many different dishes that you can prepare and you won’t feel like you are missing out on anything by eating at home.

Eating at home is really not that bad, it’s a great time to connect with your family in the most relaxed atmosphere.

Keep your food processor on your kitchen counter, that way you will always have it at hand. Remember, you can adapt any recipe to be prepared  in your food processor.

New to using a food processor?

If you are an inexperienced cook, a newlywed or someone who wants to upgrade to a better appliance, I urge you to consider the Cuisinart.

Some of them are very expensive if you purchase them from upscale kitchen stores, but you can find good prices here.

Having a food processor in your kitchen is not an extravagance, tho I know it would seem to be because of the prices. I am a very serious cook and baker and I do everything possible to save money on food preparation. The Cuisinart food processor does not waste food.

Some of the lesser quality brands waste food, as they do not cut precisely when using their slicing discs. The Cuisinarts slicing discs are all polished stainless like surgical steel. They cut exactly. You can make beautiful appetizer trays with lovely cut vegetables.

As I said, there is no end to the many recipes you can enjoy cooking.

Quick Tips for Your Food Processor

Always read thru your recipes a couple of times and then decide how you can adapt it to the Cuisinart.

I make all my cakes, pie doughs and cookie dough in my food processor.

And yes, I do have a KitchenAid stand mixer. But , nearly everything that you can do with a stand mixer, you can do in your food processor.

Actually, you can do more, since the stand mixer usually only mixes unless you add alot of attachments. I have a hand mixer that I use to whip cream. I rarely use my KitchenAid, but it looks nice on the counter.

If you have a baby in the house, you can make baby food. You can puree vegetables and then you know how fresh your baby food is.

I also process meats for my dogs. I chop cubes of meat to the consistency of ground meat. Then I know exactly what is in the meat.

As I said, there is no end to what you can do with your food processor. You will wonder how you ever got along with out it and you will find that it saves you alot of time. Yes, the blades are all dishwasher safe, as is the workbowl, top shelf of course.

One other point that is definitely worth mentioning–if you buy grated cheeses, you can save so much money grating your cheeses in the food processor.

And if you are grating mozzarella or other soft cheeses, put them in the freezer for awhile and they will grate very easy and the grater disc will clean up easy.

I hope you will read the reviews and select the food processor that is right for you. We all love to eat, so we need to enjoy food preparation.

 Happy Cooking!!
